Our last stop is the powdering room where gelatin, fruit drink mix, hot cocoa mix, and powdered milk are made.

Our favorite product made here is Atmit. Several years ago the government of Ethiopia contacted the Church about Atmit, which is translated "nourishing porridge". They made it from oat flour and goats milk but ran out of money for the project.

The Church agreed to help and the nutritionists at BYU took the recipe and improved it with powered cow's milk, oat flour, a little salt and sugar, and multi-vitamins.
