What a treat to have dinner with cousins Betty Jeanne (from Kansas) and Beverly from Salt Lake even though we seldom see her. It was great to share what's going on in their lives and to remember the good old days. We laughed until we cried. We are planning another cousins get together this summer.

President and Sister Holmes are great sports. He is quite a jokester and the sisters love to torment him. When his office turned into the Garden of Eden he put up the white flag and called a truce. His interviews for that day were held upstairs in a video room. The worst part was that he had to put the flowers back. The office looks a little different - who knows where they all came from. We all love President and Sister Holmes.

Conference time is fun, especially when family visits. Roger, Leanne, Ryan, Christian, Samantha, and April. We attended Saturday morning at Legacy Theater and Saturday afternoon in the Conference Center. Then as quick as they came - they left.

Christian spent the time with his Uncle Mark, Aunt Erin, and cousins George, Henry, Teddy and Ruby.

Elder Millet and I love the Friend. Every month we look for the hidden CTR ring. Well, this month there were 17 hidden rings and, yes, we found them all. Sister Pinbrough from the Friend called the office and I told her about our feat. She said, "I have the page numbers and still haven't found them all. Please write a letter and send a picture." Who knows this may get in the Friend. Look for it.

We have Zone Conference every transfer and they get better and better.

The zone and district leaders of Granite Zone presented a darling conference jack-up as builders of Zion. We are so fortunate to serve with such powerful and talented sister missionaries. They constantly impress us with their trainings, talks, testimonies and tours. Temple Square is truly an international mission.

The rest of Zone Conference was spent at the Bountiful Temple. We have 6 zones and 2 attend Zone Conference on Tuesday (with us) 2 on Wednesday, and 2 on Thursday. A trip to the temple was a great idea. Everyone loved the experience.

President and Sister Holmes. They are wonderful.

Elder and Sister John Groberg. He was a missionary and Mission President in Tonga. His experiences were recorded in "The Other Side of Heaven" book and movie. It was wonderful to see them at our temple session.

A beauttful ending of a perfect day spent with wonderful people at a magnificant temple. We are so blessed.

The early spring flowers are braving the snow.

The wind blows every which way as you can see by the flags at the Church Office Building. We hope for good weather for General Conference.
