Wow! What a game. Ed kept trying to get rid of a V and a U and finally just played LUV. He said, "I'll probably be sorry I played there." I played OVERBITE and got a triple triple word score - 149 points. That was my biggest play of all time. My other 7 letter word FEDEXES was only 74 points. Ed and I continue to enjoy Scrabble.

Ed and I enjoyed the wild flowers up Monument Hill from Quincy and around Sagebrush Flats Road back to Ephrata. We live in a very unique country. The hills are green in the Spring and very beautiful.

Who says the wind does not blow in Ephrata. Notice the big sky. We have no trees to block the view. Such is life in the desert.

The down size was the gravel roads and how dirty the car got.

It's wonderful to have such a handy and helpful and loving husband. Cute, even.

We have the most unusual tulip in our flower garden.

The tulip is half yellow and half red. Two petals are yellow and two red. The other 2 are half and half right down the middle. It is truly amazing. We have enjoyed watching it.
Haden turned 16 and was ordained a Priest in the Aaronic Priesthood. The whole family was there for this most wonderful occasion.

Back row: Troy(4), Leslie(4), Britney(1), Aleisha(1), Jaleyna(1), Wendy(1), Curtis(1), Leanne(3), Roger(3), Kelly(1), Joyce, Ed. Middle row: Taylor(1), Christian(4), April(3), Samantha(3). Front row: Ryan(3), Anna(4), Robbie(3), Emily(4), Haden(1). Families grouped as follows: Kelly/Wendy(1), Roger/Leanne(3), Troy/Leslie(4)

Haden is a happy kid.

We attended the open house for the Vancouver Canada temple. It is so beautiful. It is about 30 minutes from where we lived in Lynden. It was good to see several friends from Bellingham/Lynden there.

The temple was beautiful - as beautiful as this darling family: Leslie, Christian, Emily, Anna, and Troy.

What fun it was to visit Lynden as tourists. Ed could not find his passport so he explored and visited the library while we were in Canada seeing the temple.

Most of the stores in historic downtown Lynden have the Dutch theme. Many are antique stores. We visited the Dutch Bakery and the ice cream/chocolate store for treats. We liked this quote.

The Dutch mural is still there. Ed really wanted to be part of it.

Koi fish at the Dutch Village Mall. What a disappointment. Most of the store fronts in the mall were empty.

The kids loved running up the exercise hill. It was fun to hear Troy tell his children about growing up in Lyndne.

This was our home in Lynden for over 30 years. It looks quite different with the fence around it. The rhubarb was huge and we could hardly resist knocking on the door.

As youth the boys spent a great deal of time at Whatcome Falls Park so it was natural that we visit here. Too cold to dive off the cliffs, however.

You can see Whatcom Falls behind Anna and Emilly.

Water is going down the shoot behind Christian with great force.

What a great time we had. Whatcom Falls Park is a wonderful secret.
