We have now passed our half way point in our mission. We entered the MTC on February 18, 2008. We have one more year to go. We can now say, "We have been on our mission just over a year."
Elder Millet and I received new callings last week. We were sad to give up our calling as Referral/Call Center Directors but a new opportunity has come. Elder Millet is the Mission Financial Officer and I am the Secretary to the Mission President.
President Holmes assured us the call was from the Lord. We trust that the Lord will help us fill these callings.
So far, we have survived the first week of training but are still in very deep water. There is a lot to do and time flies. We go to work at 8:30 and work until 4:30or until the chores of the day are completed.
Yesterday we got 11 new Sisters that will come to our mission in April or June. The processing in both our offices is very extensive - wow!
It is wonderful to know that on this very day an Apostle of the Lord looked at their files and pictures and was inspired to assign them to Temple Square. With a click of the computer the information was sent to my e-mail. The gospel is true and the Church organization is wonderful and inspired. How fortunate we are to be part of this great work.
We love to be missionaries, especially to be here on Temple Square.

We were excited to show Rick and Lorraine Little from Longview, WA around Temple Square. Rick was in our Cub Scout group many, many years ago. His mother, Darlene, and I had a great 3 years planning activites for the Cubs. Rick remembered every word to "Rudolph, the Bull-Legged Cowpoke."

The high point of our day was attending the open house for the newly completed Draper Temple. It was a very wonderful day.
