Oh, how I love to lead music. Especially with piano and organ accompaniment and 250 people singing enthusiastically. Thanks to Sister Lloyd who took the pictures of the program.

Our Christmas tree was very festive, don't you agree? The stocking was full of surprises from Santa.


Thanks for remembering us at Christmas. We loved our gifts and we love you.

And, yes, we had a white Christmas. We were lucky to see the gate.

Christmas is a wonderful time for sharing. The Family History Missionaries made scarves for the sisters - hundreds of them. The Seniors also enjoyed a new scarf.



New sheets for every bed and new quilts. Yes, the quilts we made and tied for Zone service projects were included.

We had a great opportunity to sing in the Tabernacle and make a CD. The Sisters did most of the singing but we were included. Not all the Senior Couples knew about the event that happened at 9:00 after the square closed.


The Mission choir used my bells for their Christmas concerts. If you look carefully you can see them to the right of the organ.

Jolley, Alenda, Maryanna, Marie, Samuel, Allisone, and Janet came and spent the day. We saw "Joseph Smith the Prophet of the Restoration" and later enjoyed the lights.


The fun part was coming home through the tunnels. It's blurry but Sanuel, Alenda, and Maryanna.

Christmas on Temple Square is truly outstanding. We have watched for months as the decorations have gone up but we are still amazed at the beauty and creativity of the artists who created this masterpiece. The pictures are beautiful but to be here and see for yourself is amazing. Please come and visit.

The metal luminaries are etched with Christmas pictures.

The Church Office Building plaza between the Church Administration Building and the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. This garden is so beautiful all year with flowers of every color but at Christmas it is spectacular.

And she brought forth her firstborn son, wrapped him in swaddling clothes and laid him in a manger.


There were shepherds abiding in the field keeping watch over their flocks by night.


Wise men from the East saw the star and came to worship him.

This is the entrance to Temple Square from South Gate. Very impressive.

The Assembly Hall is truly beautiful.So much effort was expended to light every tree.

Our Temple Square Mission Choir will perform 5 times this season. Musical groups from all over the state are here to sing in almost every building.

The nativity at the Temple reflecting pond is very unique. Mary and Joseph are in the middle of the pond surrounded by bubble lights. The shepherds are on both ends. The lights on the trees make a beautiful setting.

The trees in front of the Beehive House still have their leaves and create an interesting sight.


The Beehive House Christmas trees are filled with old fashioned decorations.


The lane to the Church Office Building is aglow.

The temple is beautiful from every view.
